Cold Weather Emergencies: Hypothermia (v2)

Course overview

Cold weather emergencies can affect victims at any time during the year. A decrease in body temperature will have the same affect whether it is mid-January or mid-July.

Providers should familiarize themselves with different cold dangers, the signs and symptoms of hypothermia, and the consideration for hypothermia depending on the current environment or situation.

Featuring Augie Bamonti, EMT-P, PHTLS Executive Council, from Chicago Heights, Illinois.
