Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Care (v2)

Course overview

It is critical for an EMS provider to rapidly evaluate patient complaints presented in a cardiac emergency, gather objective data through patient history, vital signs, and ECG assessment to analyze the situation, and provide the appropriate treatments.

This course teaches responders to recognize acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and act quickly to minimize potential damage to the cardiac muscle. Providers will learn how to use assessment information and formulate a patient care plan to effectively reduce patient morbidity and mortality.
